Afghans exhibit handicrafts and dried fruits in Almaty

Central Asian ForumThe Fourth Central Asian Trade Forum and International Exhibition was launched on 29th -30th Oct 2014 with the participation of representatives from Afghanistan, Central Asian Countries, Latvia, Pakistan and USAID Regional representative, Ministers, Traders and government delegations at Rixos Hotel in Almaty, Kazakhstan .

Afghan and other participating traders from different countries exhibited their goods after the Forum concluded.

Through the support of the Export Promotion Agency of Afghanistan and USAID/ATAR Project the participating Afghan traders were from dried fruits and handicrafts sectors which had good selling during the exhibition.

Afghan booths received the most number of visitors in comparison with the other participating countries.

In this exhibition, two B2B(Business to Business) Meetings with the traders from Russia and Latvia have already been confirmed and more B2B Meetings will be organized soon for the Afghan traders.
