Center for religious studies opened in Nangarhar

Afghan Senator Lotfullah Baba opened a religious center worth 15mn AFN in eastern Nangarhar province.
The objective behind the establishment of the religious center is to provide religious education opportunities to those Afghan children who are sent to Pakistan to seek such education.
According to Mr. Baba, lack of religious centers in the country obliges Afghan children to go to Pakistan.
“The centre already has 300 students… in the future we aim to attract 2000 students here,” Tolo News quotes Mr. Baba.
Bordering with Nangarhar, Pakistan’s Peshawar City attracts many Afghan students to seek religious education.
