Coal processing factory to open soon in Kabul

coalA coal processing factory with a capacity of processing 50 tons of coal in 24 hours will be opened soon in Deh Sabz area of Kabul.

With an initial investment of USD 5 million, 11 individuals have shares in the factory and the investment is expected to increase to USD 20million in the near future.

According to Pajhwok Afghan News (PAN), the factory has signed contracts with four suppliers of raw coal. The raw coal will be processed into a standard product by removing rocks and minerals.

Factory Chairman Mohisn Amiri told PAN that the due to lack of modern coal processing factories a huge amount of coal was wasted during its extraction.
