Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat opens customers service in Baghlan Province

breshan centerAfghanistan’s electricity company, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), has inaugurated a customer service center (Ghuri Breshna Center)in northern Baghlan province in an attempt to host a better payment facility and customer care center.

“The new center will enable the 20,000 customers in the province to easily seek solutions to their problems,” said chief of the Ghuri Breshna Center, Ghulam Hussain.

Costing 5,200,000 AFN, the center was funded entirely from DABS budget and built in under six months.

Meanwhile, DABS finance director Mirwais Alimi said DABS future projects included construction of an electricity transmission line with a capacity of 500 MW in Turkmenistan that would transfer electricity to Pul-e-Khumri city, where a new 1000MW capacity sub-station would also be constructed by DABS.

“After this project, no area in Pul-e-Khumri city will remain without electricity,” said Mr. Alimi.
