Development projects completed in Helmand province

The National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (NSP/MRRD) recently completed three development projects in Nahar-e-Saraj and Garamsir districts of Helmand province.

According to the provincial manager of NSP in Helmand province, these development projects included the construction of irrigation canals and wells. Around 581 families have benefited from these development projects.

The projects were implemented at a cost of 3 million AFN.

Since its inception, the NSP has expended 794,486,130 AFN for implementation of 1,089 development projects in various sectors such as education, irrigation, , power, transport, water supply and sanitation, livelihood, etc.

Thousands of residents of Helmand province have benefited from these projects so far.
