Eleven NSP projects completed in Khost Province

123With a cost of more than 24,332,000 AFN, eleven projects of the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) were recently completed in Tarazai & Bak districts of Khost province.

According to the provincial manager of NSP in Khost province, these development projects included the construction of irrigation canals, community centers, rural roads, culverts and excavation of deep wells equipped with hand pumps. Two thousand two hundred twenty four families benefited from these development projects.

Since its inception, the NSP expended 2,169,664,502 AFN in Khost province for implementation of 2,547 development projects in various sectors such as transport, water and sanitation, irrigation, power, livelihoods and education. 1,825 projects have so far been completed, while the work of another 722 is currently in progress.
