Expired food products torched in Herat

Afghan authorities seized tons of expired food items during the last month in the Pusht-e-Koh area of Herat City.

Herat’s Public Health Director, Ghulam Saeed Rashed, said that health and municipality personnel recovered 21 tons of expired food products from different markets in the area.

The items were torched in the presence of government officials.
