Germany pledges to continue helping Afghanistan

In a meeting with Nasir Ahmad Durrani, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Minister, Markus Potzel, the Ambassador for Germany promised the commitment of his country to helping Afghanistan through their cooperation with the MRRD.

Ambasador Potzel emphasized that his country will turn a new page and intensify their commitment to helping the MRRD and in particular the National Solidarity Program (NSP) achieve their goals, saying “in order to identify the priorities of the MRRD, Germany will dispatch a delegation to the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.”

In return, the Afghan Minister expressed his gratitude for the longstanding contributions Germany has made to Afghanistan in different spheres, especially for the rural development of the country.
