Khost's industrial park to attract big investment

Enduring FreedomThe Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) has informed that Khost now offers vast investment opportunities compared with the past decade.

According to Pajhwok Afghan News (PAN), many investors have expressed willingness to invest in various sectors, with over 600 different construction, agriculture and production companies in the province,

Insecurity and absence of electricity remain to be major obstacles to investment development in various sectors.

Investors have called on the government to undertake necessary measures for facilitating investment in the province.

The source adds that work on the industrial park of the province is almost completed, which will attract investors to invest in the province.

“We are trying to build factories and offer facilities besides building of the industrial park. All our institutions are working in coherence to remove obstacles in way of investment in a move to usher an era of progress and prosperity,” PAN quotes Khost Governor Abdul Jabar Naeemi.
