Launch of construction of Helmand projects

Construction of three development projects, including buildings for the municipality district and transport and the department cleanliness and asphalting of a road, was launched on Sunday in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province.

The project, costing USD 270,000, is funded by the British government and would take seven months to complete.

The asphalting of a road, 140m long and 5m wide, in the Kart-e-Lagan area of the provincial was also launched on the same day.
