Municipality halts construction of illegal buildings in Khost city

khostThe Municipality department has halted construction work on several building that were being built illegal and against required engineering standards.

Head of the engineering department at the Municipality Ghulam Rassould said the work on more than 20 unauthorized buildings that were initiated against the master plan for Khost city has been stopped.

This comes as Khost city is turning into a trade hug and is undertaking planned construction activities.

Meanwhile, some investors asked the department to facilitate people in building new structures and avoid creating problems for builders in getting permission.
