Newly constructed airport terminal inaugurated in Uruzgan province

uruzganA newly built airport terminal, funded by Netherlands, was inaugurated in central Uruzgan province.

The terminal is built in accordance to international standards with a capacity to facilitate 900 passengers.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Netherlands Ambassador Han Peters said his country would continue to stand by Afghanistan, especially Uruzgan, where Netherlands has executed several other development projects.

Uruzgan Governor Amir Mohammad Akhundzada thanked the Dutch government and said the reconstruction of the terminal would help resolve many problems of the passengers at the airport.
