Over 2000 families benefit from development projects in Ghazni province

The National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) completed 22 infrastructure projects in various districts of Ghazni province.

Costing 16,079,087 AFN, the projects were implemented in Malistan, Muqur, Qarabagh and Gailan districts with 10% contribution from the local communities.

According to NSP Provincial Manager in Ghazni province, these development projects include the construction of retaining walls 498 meters in length, four water supply networks, six community centers, four micro-hydro power stations, a 1,387-meter irrigation canal, a 420-meter rural road, 264 culverts and excavation of four wells equipped with hand pumps.

Approximately, 2,103 families in various communities have benefited from these projects.
