Power project installed in Parwan province

Breshna Sherkat installed a power project, involving the installation of five transformers, in the central province of parwan.

The project, funded by the US Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), benefits 3,000 families in five villages of Chikal valley on the outskirts of Charikar.

According to a local resident, Shamsul Hadi, well-off people relied on solar energy and the rest used liquefied gas for lighting their houses.
