Projects worth over 21mn AFN completed in Nimruz Province

As many as 41 projects have been implemented in various districts of Nimruz province by the National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD).

Costing 21.5mn AFN, the projects were completed in Char Burjak, Chakhan Sor, Kang and Khasrod districts of the province.

According to the provincial manager of NSP in Nimruz province, these development projects included construction of a community center, tertiary roads and culverts.

He added that two thousand three hundred families have benefited from these development projects.

Since its inception in the province, the NSP has spent 303,169,599 AFN towards implementation of 680 development projects that encompass various sectors including transport, electricity, education and irrigation.

The projects have enabled thousands of residents in the province to find access to basic human needs.
