Reintegration Programs Planned for Samangan Province

Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock announced that the international community has allocated USD 17 million for the reintegration process in 10 provinces.

Aybak and Sarbagh districts of Samangan are included in the process and the projects include technical survey, irrigation network, and development of gardens, forests and agricultural lands.

Head of agriculture department of Samangan province Abdul Razaq Rahimi said that developing agriculture and gardening is important for improving the living condition of the people.

More than 90,000 hectares of forests and pistachio have been badly damaged due to over three decades of war.
