Sixteen development projects executed in Samangan Province

The National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) recently completed sixteen welfare projects in Hazrat Sultan district of Samangan province.
Costing 23,506,000 AFN, these development projects included the construction of community centers, a school building, culverts, a 275-meter retaining wall, 10 water reservoirs, lavatories, excavation four wells, graveling a 750-meter rural road and extension of urban power supply network at length of 7,170 meters with installation of four transformers. Approximately, 2,091 families have benefited from these development projects.
Since its inception, the NSP has implementation 418 development projects in various sectors such as education, irrigation, livelihood, power, water supply & sanitation, transport, etc. Thousands of residents of Nimroz province benefited from these projects so far.
