Takhar revenue increases by 47mn AFN

takhar jpgStanding at 197mn AFN, the revenue of Takhar province has increased by 47mn AFN last Afghan calendar year (1391) that ended on March 21, 2013.

In 1390, the revenue was 150mn AFN.

The officials have linked the jump in revenue to improved security situation in the province, good cooperation between government departments and efforts at collecting taxes in-time.

Provincial revenue department head Mohammad Sadiq Fayaz said the Finance Ministry had set this year’s budget at 310mn AFN, something he sad would be difficult to achieve provided that Takhar is a small province.
