Thirteen infrastructure projects completed in Faryab Province

Thirteen development projects have recently been completed in Qaisar district of Faryab province.
Funded by the National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD), the projects were implemented at a cost of more than 25,268,689 AFN with 10% contribution from the local community.
According to the NSP provincial manager of Faryab province, these development projects include the construction of two community centers, 524-meters long retaining walls, a healthy water reservoir, a 3,609-meter water supply network, a 7.4-meter aqueduct, two irrigation ponds (23 meters each), a 245-meter irrigation canal and two bridges and graveling a 190-meter rural road.
Approximately, 3,051 families in 13 communities have benefited from these uplift projects.
It is worth mentioning that NSP has so far successfully implemented 2,686 development projects in Faryab province, while the work on another 800 projects is currently in progress in different communities of this province.
