Twenty development projects completed in Wardak province

wardak nspTwenty sub-projects of the National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) were recently completed in Wardak province and handed over to the communities.

According to the concerned Provincial Manager of NSP, these development projects included the construction of water intakes, micro-hydro power projects, grading and graveling of rural roads 4,600 meters in length, retaining walls, water reservoir, culverts and excavation of deep wells along with hand pump installations.

The source adds that these projects have been completed with a cost of more than 6,620,000 AFN in Hisa-e- Awal-e- Behsood and Jalrez districts of Wardak province, benefiting five hindered severity nine families.

The NSP has expended so far 1,768,059,000 AFN for implementation of 2,420 development projects in Wardak province.
