World Bank donates USD 75mn to Afghan Agriculture Ministry

World BankIn a bid to strengthen Afghanistan’s agriculture sector, the World Bank (WB) granted USD 75mn in aid to the Afghan Agriculture and Livestock Ministry.

An agreement to that effect was signed between Afghanistan’s Finance Ministry and officials of the World Bank.

According to officials from the Ministry, the aid would be spent towards agricultural projects across the country in the next three years.
