Afghanistan becomes the third best team in T20Is in 2016

After recording a success percentage of 66.6 percent; winning eight, losing four in a total of 12 T20Is, Afghanistan’s cricket team was voted the third best team in T20Is in 2016. They are behind India who have a 75% success rate after winning 15, losing 5 and one no-contest out of 21 T20Is.
New Zealand hold the highest success percentage in T20Is with a success rate of 80 percent. They have won 8, and lost 2 in total of 10 T20Is in 2016.
Afghanistan’s star batsman Mohammad Shahzad was ranked 6th among the leading run-getters of 2016. He scored 407 runs in 12 T20Is with one century and one fifty with a highest score of 118. His strike rate of 151.30 is exceptional and is second to Martin Guptill’s 171.92.
