Afghanistan out of the Beach Football World Cup

beach footballAfghanistan’s beach football cup hopes dashed after losing its fourth and final match in Doha against Bahrain by 2-5.

Afghanistan won its very first match against Qatar last week but lost the three following matches to Oman, Australia and Bahrain of Group A.

The FIFA Beach Football World Cup is held every two years.

Russia won the cup in 2011, with Brazil, Portugal and El Salvador securing second, third and fourth respectively.
