Arsenal 5-2 Tottenham Hotspur, Man U 2-1 Norwich

Arsenal beat their bitter rivals and secured the 4th position in the Premier League table. Tottenham was on the lead at the very start of the first half with two goals.

The first goal came from Louis Saha sprinting through the middle of the Aresnal defence. The second goal was a penalty scored by Emmaneul Adebayor.

Arsenal had a hard time tearing apart Tottenham’s defence, but Arsenal did not let the audience leave with disappointment.

Bacary Sagna scored the first goal for Arsenal magnificently created by Mikel Arteta’s floated cross. The second goal came right after from Robin van Persie, who scored his 29th of the season. The credit certainly goes to Theo Walcott who epitomized the theme of transformation.

Arsenal left Totteham in bewilderment for the rest of the match and continued to dominate with 5-0. After Arsenal’s wild score-line of 4-0 against Milan at the Champions League and 8-2 loss at Manchester United, this comeback was not expected. Arsenal played an exciting game and showed a great character, according to the statement by Arsene Wegner, Arsenal manager.

The win lifts Arsenal above Chelsea into fourth spot because it has scored more goals. Both have the same goal difference.

Man U secured a 2-1 victory against Norwich, the last goal coming at the very 90th minute of the game from Giggs. “Norwich put up a great fight but we didn’t really play very well,” Giggs told the British Broadcasting Corp. “But I think if you look at the last 10 minutes, we probably just deserved it.”

Man City is two points ahead of United with 63 points. Tottenham, 53 points, is ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea.
