Real Madrid tops richest football teams list for 10th year in a row

Real Madrid has once again become the world’s richest club for the 10th consecutive year, recording a total turnover of 603.9mn Euros in the 2013-2014 season.
The turnover has witnessed a 10.9% increase on the previous campaign, while their net profit has increased by a further 44% to 38.5mn Euros.
According to the club’s president Florentino Perez, the club’s net debt has fallen by more than 21%.
Real Madrid also claimed the most valuable club in the world title for third consecutive year, according to Forbes.
Madrid broke the global transfer record in the summer of 2013 when they signed Gareth Bale for 100m Euros, while they spent a further €120m this summer to bring James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas to the club.
